“Food Mela” and Costume Gala” were held with a bang at Shakti Residential School, Shaktinagar, Mangalore. More than 27 stalls put up by more than 100 children to enhance business skills and communication skills among children. The founder of the organization Dr. KC Naik inaugurated the programme. With much excitement, Visiting each stall, he accepted the snacks provided by the children.
Mr. Ramesh K., the Chief Advisor of the school, Principal Ravishankar Hegde, College Principal Mr. Venkateshamurthy were present. Organized by the children of class four and class five, there were many kinds of food such as chats, vegetable salad, fruit salad, various kinds of drinks, cakes, homemade fried items, sweet corn and so on. All the staff members of Shakti were allowed to buy.
QR code system was designed to encourage online payment among children. More than 200 school and college staff participated and encouraged the children. A survey was conducted from everyone who visited the stalls.
On the same occasion, a special competition was organized for the children from first to third class in order to overcome the fear of assembly among the children. The sight of children dressing up as flowers, fruits, vegetables and social workers coming to the stage and speaking beautifully were fascinating. The Management congratulated all the teachers, non-teaching staff and students for their hardwork and contributing towards the program.
ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಮತ್ತು ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಆಹಾರ ಮೇಳ
ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಣ್ಣರ ಆಹಾರ ಮೇಳ ವಿಜ್ರಂಭಣೆಯಿಂದ ನೆರವೇರಿತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯವಹಾರದ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಭಾಷಣಾ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಸುಮಾರು ನೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದಲೇ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾದ 27 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳು ರಾರಾಜಿಸಿದವು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಕೆ.ಸಿ.ನಾೖಕ್‌ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿನೀಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ನೀಡಿದ ತಿಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಹರಸಿದರು.
ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ರಮೇಶ್ ಕೆ., ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶಮೂರ್ತಿ ಹೆಚ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಐದನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಈ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಟ್ಸ್, ತರಕಾರಿ ಸಲಾಡ್, ಫ್ರೂಟ್ ಸಲಾಡ್, ಹಲವು ಬಗೆಯ ಪಾನೀಯಗಳು, ಕೇಕ್‌ಗಳು, ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ ಕರಿದ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳು, ಸ್ವೀಟ್ ಕಾರ್ನ್, ಹೀಗೇ ಹಲವು ಬಗೆಯ ಖಾದ್ಯಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರಿಗೆ ಖರೀದಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಪೇಮೆಂಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲು ಕ್ಯೂಆರ್ ಕೋಡ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶಾಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸುಮಾರು 200 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರಿಂದಲೂ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಭಾಕಂಪನವನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ಒಂದರಿಂದ ಮೂರನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವರೆಗಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹೂವು, ಹಣ್ಣು, ತರಕಾರಿ, ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರ ವೇಷ ಧರಿಸಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ದೃಶ್ಯ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಮನೋಹರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿತು.
