Sanjith Naik, has an architecture degree from MIT-Manipal, an MBA from Texas State University – USA , and has completed an Executive education program in Real-estate with
Harvard university.

• Sanjith has also had a short experience in teaching, while at Texas State University for his MBA.
• Upon completion of his MBA, he was invited to be a member of BETA GAMMA SIGMA – an international business honour society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world.
• His early education was at St. Aloysius School and PU college, Mangalore.
• He is currently the Executive Director of Mahabaleshwara Promoters and Builders, Mangalore. In 2011 he expanded the business to Bangalore where he heads the operations under his proprietorship by the name of Mahabaleshwara Projects.
• Sanjith is also the Designated Partner at Allegro Mahabaleshwara Ventures LLP, a real estate development partnership.
• Besides being the secretary and correspondent for Shakthi Residential school, Sanjith Naik is also the Managing Trustee of Shakthi Education Trust which runs Shakthi Residential school and PU College.
• Sanjith Naik is also a Trustee in Sree Gopalakrishna Temple Trust and Sree Gopalakrishna Charitable trust, Shakthinagar Mangalore
• In the year 2007, Sanjith Naik was among the select few speakers at the Mangalore Today “Gen-next” conclave, an event where prominent next generation leaders of the city were invited.
Dr. Muralidhar Naik, M.A (Hindi), PhD – Trustee
Dr. V. Murulidhar Naik is at present the Principal of MIFT College, Mangalore. He was a Professor and Head of Department of Hindi in Mangalore University College since 32years and has also served as a visiting professor to the post graduate department of Hindi in Mangalore University. Currently he is a member of PEER Team of NAAC, After completing his BSc of Government College Mangalore he attained MA from Mysore University with Third Rank, In 1999 he attained PhD from Mysore University. He was an elected senate Member form Mangalore University for two terms. He also served as the member of Board of Studies and Board of examination for different Universities and Colleges fro PG and UG. He has published 15 books and more than 20 articles. He has delivered more than 500 invited talks.
He has been awarded the Best Social Worker Award from Indian Overseas Bank, Rotary Club, Tulu Nadu Rakshana Vedike, Department of Women an Child Welfare and many other forums. He is the member of National Monitoring Committee (NMC) for Education in the Dept. of Higher Education of Govt. of India.
Mr. V. K. Talithaya – Trustee
V K Talithaya, a senior mentor for Shakthi Residential School & College. He was the Senior Vice President, Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemical Limited. He was also the Managing Trustee of MRPL School. He was visiting faculty in Administrative Staff College and Centre for organisation development, Hyderabad. He has vast experience in administration, management, human resources and education. He has authored a book for children in Kannada and two books for teachers in Kannada and English.
Mrs. Saguna C. Naik – Governing Council Member
She is an active member in the governing council of Shakthi Education Trust. She has keen interest in imparting fruitful education to children, bringing out the best in them and inculcating values in them. She aims at building a role model institution. She works day in and day out to fulfil her dreams. Mrs. Naik is a multi – talented personality.
Dr. K. C. Naik – Administrator
Hailing from an illustrious family from a village called Kodipady, Puthur in D.K. Dist, of Agriculturists with extensive land holdings, Dr. K.C.Naik a graduate of Commerce from Mysore University studied in Govt. College, Mangalore, ventured into business as early as 1961 and involved himself in diverse endeavors, such as transport contracts and civil construction work for PWD & KEB. His Mahabaleshwara Bus Services was serving Nationwide, with quality service Fame. He has established Tread Rubber Factory, Canara Rubber Products Private Limited in 1974. (Then the name has been changed to Cantreds Private Ltd.) He has also established organization serving to Industries, The Sarosh Technical Services which also exporting quality Tread Rubber abroad.
He uses his rich experience to implement his policy of quality and transparency in business.
In 1989 Mr. K.C.Naik also entered Hotel Industry. Hotel Pentagon was established by him, and later he has disposed it.
He is married to Mrs. Saguna C. Naik with three children. His children are highly educated; his two daughters Mrs. Reshma Naik & Mrs. Ramya Naik are married and settled in U.S.A. for the past several years. His son Mr. Sanjith Naik, who has taken over as the Executive Director of the firm Mahabaleshwara Promoters & Builders Pvt. Ltd. is a qualified architect from Manipal Institution of Technology and also an MBA – from Texas State University – San Marcos, USA.
A well traveled man and an enthusiastic golfer; and he had the privileged of Captain of Mangalore Golf Club.
Besides Mr. K.C.Naik’s business activities, he is also a Philanthropist known to have a generous helping hand and built Sri Gopalakrishna Temple using his own funds which was inaugurated on 30th April 2007, In Shakthi Nagar and Thousands of piligrims visit this Temple.
He has established Shri Gopalakrishna Charitable Trust and serving the needy. The Trust is donating generously to upgrade the downtrodden Shakthi Nagar. He has donated vehicle to Local Govt. School for the school children to facilitate the poor to educate their children.
He is also donating generously by kind and cash to ‘Anganavadi’ of Shakthinagar area. He also donating books to School children of local Govt. school.

Milestones in his Career
- 1961- Mahalingeshwara Lorry Services
- 1964 – One of the earliest industrialists/tour operators in Mangalore, he started a luxury bus service under the name ‘Mahabaleshwara Bus Service’. This company catered to inter-city / state bus service (between Mangalore – Bangalore, Mangalore – Bombay, Mangalore – Goa etc). It became his flagship enterprise at that time and Mahabaleshwara is a name synonymous with inter state luxury travel even today.
- 1974 – Exploring other opportunities in 1974, Naik diversified into the industrial arena with ‘Canara Rubber and Rubber Products (P) Ltd’ under the brand name ‘CANTREADS’. It catered to the re-treading markets both domestic & export markets. The company name has been subsequently changed into ‘CANTREADS PRIVATE LTD’. In each of the fields that he ventured into, he made his mark, thereby sharpening instincts for success. Established Sarosh Technical Services, serving Technical need and Expoted Pre Cured Tread Tubber to abroad.
- 1974 – He made his venture into real estate. His maiden project was ‘Mahabaleshwara Commercial Complex’, located at Mallikatte, Mangalore. Needless to say, he utilised his midas touch and the complex has become a landmark.
- 1979 – Received the National Award Udyog Patra for the Outstanding Entrepreneur of the year 1979 from the then Vice President of India, Sri. B.D. Jatti.
- 1992 – Mangalore City witnessed rapid development and a paradigm shift in urban city lifestyle. As the demand for residential property increased, the shift from independent houses to apartments began. C. Naik was one of the first to respond to the emerging opportunity Mahabaleshwara Promoters & Builders Pvt. Ltd. was formed.
- 2001 – K.C. Naik is the founder President of Kanara Builders Association in 2001 and the Former President of CREDAI. He is also the secretary of Vikas College of Physiotherapy and Vice President of SDM College of Business Management.

He has completed M.A in Hindi from Mangalore University and diploma in mechanical engineering from Govt. Polytechnic, Koppal. He has conducted seminars and given suggestion on changes in education system to the Government. During 2014 to 2018 he was the correspondent for Mandev educational and charitable trust managed and coordinated 3 English medium school, a Pre – University College and First grade degree college. A nominated member at Nehru Yuva Kendra of Govt of India. Since 2015, the Karnataka state representative for 2020-2024 olympics Gail Indian Speedstar. He is the Karnataka State representative for National Yuva Co-operative Society. He is an active Convener at Mangalore initiative for nationalist dialogue. Also he is the General Secretary at Akhila Bharathia Sahitya Parishath, Dakshina Kannada.
Mr. Venkatesha Murthy H, Principal (College)
He is an accomplished individual with a strong academic background and extensive experience in the field of botany, education, and administration. He holds a B.Sc. in CBZ from Government Science College, Chitradurga, and an M.Sc. in Botany. His research journey spans 5 years, during which he was awarded a UGC Fellowship. His research focused on the impact of herbicides (Atrazine and Simazine) on crop plants such as Sorghum and Maize. He has also been an active participant in various workshops and seminars held across India.
He has been associated with the Department of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Botany at the University of Mysore, Manasagangothri, Mysuru. In his earlier roles, he served as a Scientist at the Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute in Berhampur, Murshidabad, West Bengal. He has also worked as a bank probationary officer in Dharwad and as a Central Excise and Customs Officer in Belgavi.
Mr. Murthy’s teaching career has been remarkable. During his research tenure, he imparted knowledge to M.Sc. students. He has served as a Biology Lecturer at various institutions, including Government First Grade College in SIRA, Tumkur District. His expertise also extended to Pre University Colleges, where he taught Biology for a total of 19 years. Notably, he served as the Principal of Government Pre University College in Kokkada, Belthangady Taluk, D K, for 11 years.
His leadership skills are evident from his role as In Charge Deputy Director for School Education (Pre University Education) in Mangaluru-Dakshina Kannada. He continued to excel as the Deputy Director for School Education (Pre University Education) in Karwar, Uttara Kannada. With a wealth of experience in education and administration, he has left a significant impact on various facets of his field.
Mrs. Babitha Suraj, M.Sc., BEd – Principal (School)
Babitha Suraj, a seasoned education professional with an impressive 24-year career, has left an indelible mark in the field of education. Her journey, marked by dedication, innovation, and a passion for shaping young minds, is a testament to her commitment to excellence.
Her professional voyage commenced as a teacher & lecturer at various schools and colleges in and around Mangalore.
