Bhavani Jogi, a Retd. Nursing Superintendent, presently working as a lady’s Swimming Instructor in Shakthi Group of Institutions has bagged 6 Gold Medals in Open Masters Athletics Championship held in Indore Madhya Pradesh from 16th September to 19th September 2022.
Shot-put, Discuss throw, Long Jump & Triple Jump were the individual Gold achieved while the other two were in Women’s 4×100 mtrs relay and 4×100 mtrs mixed relay.
Bhavani Jogi is a Gold Medalist in Swimming and a National Power Lifter.Also won International Gold Medals at Malaysia, Singapore, Bangkok, China, Thailand and 2 times in Sri Lanka in athletics. She is further selected for the zonal meet at Nasik and International meet at Nepal. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸೆ. 28 : ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಈಜು ತರಬೇತಿದಾರೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭವಾನಿ ಜೋಗಿ ಅವರು ೧೬ ರಿಂದ 19 ನೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2022 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಇಂದೋರ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಓಪನ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್ ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ಶಿಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ 6 ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ತಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರು ಶಾಟ್ಪುಟ್, ಡಿಸ್ಕಸ್ ಥ್ರೋ, ಲಾಂಗ್ ಜಂಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟ್ರಿಪಲ್ ಜಂಪ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಚಿನ್ನವನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಎರಡು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ 4100 ಮೀಟರ್ ರಿಲೇ ಮತ್ತು 4100 ಮೀಟರ್ ಮಿಶ್ರ ರಿಲೇಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಕೀರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಭವಾನಿ ಜೋಗಿ ಸ್ವಿಮ್ಮಿಂಗ್ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕ ವಿಜೇತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪವರ್ ಲಿಫ್ಟರ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲೇಷ್ಯಾ, ಸಿಂಗಾಪುರ, ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಾಕ್, ಚೀನಾ, ಥೈಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಲಂಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ 2 ಬಾರಿ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕಗಳನ್ನು ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾಸಿಕ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಝೋನಲ್ ಮೀಟ್ಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೇಪಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
