Details of Shakthi Kalanidhi Prashasthi

SHAKTHI KALANIDHI PRASHASTHI’ will be given for the exceptional Art work at the District Level for the students of LKG to GRADE 10 of all Schools in Dakshina Kannada. Competition will be held in 5 categories

First Category L.K.G & U.K.G
Second Category Grade 1&2
Third Category Grade 3,4&5
Fourth Category Grade 6, 7& 8
Fifth Category Grade 9&10

The First three sections come under the Junior category and the last two sections under the Senior category. The winners will be honored with a Cash Prize, Special Prize from Itsy bitsy, certificate and a memento.

Rs. 3,000/- First Prize
 Rs. 2,000/- Second Prize
 Rs. 1,000/- Third Prize.
Top Best Entry will bag Rs.750/- in each category

Criteria

  • Register your names on shakthi.edu.in
  • A3 Drawing Sheet to be used.
  • The name, class and the school’s name to be written at the back side of the drawing paper.
  • Mention the parent’s contact number and mail id too.
  • Drawing must be done at home and the hard copy of the same has to reach Shakthi campus at Shakthinagar on or before 25th February 2021.
  • It could also be sent by post or courier to the above mentioned address.
  • The organisers are not responsible for any damages caused while sending it by post or courier.

 Pls. Note – The best entries will be shortlisted and called for an offline contest with a different topic to be held on Saturday 6th March 2021 at 9 am at Reshma Memorial Auditorium, Shakthi Campus, Shakthinagar, Mangaluru.

GUIDELINES

  • One participant can take part in one competition only, as all events start simultaneously.
  • Participants must be dressed in School uniform for discipline purpose.
  • A Permission letter from School is Compulsory.
  • Registration at 9:30 a.m, 10:30 to 11:00 Inauguration
  • No Registration Fee
  • Registration can be done through E- mail – schooloffice@shakthi.net.in.
  • Competitions begin at 11:00 a.m.
  • Refreshment & Lunch will be provided.
  • For Grade I & II COLOURING SHEETS, COLOUR PAPER FOR COLLAGE MAKING along with OUTLINE PAPER and GLUE will be
  • For Grade III & IV & V, VI & VII only DRAWING SHEET will be provided. Rest of the materials must be brought by the participants.
  • For Grade VIII, IX & X, participants must make all necessary arrangements for all the events.
  • For Grade V, VI & VII, VIII, IX & X VARIETY ENTERTAINMENT – 20 Minutes out of which Skit-Group Song – Group Dance will be Mandatory

          The rest your choice –M.C will carry marks. No grace time for a change over of one item to another.

  • QUIZ – only one team from the school consisting of 2 students. Quiz competition (General) will be conducted in 2 stages
    i) Written round
    ii) Oral
  • Science Model / Project Making for Grade VIII, IX & X only.

Theme for Science Project : (Any ONE of the following)

Environment, Waste Management, Alternative Energy, Traffic Management, Biology Models, Town planning, Sensors/ Bio or Chemical, Robotics, Rescue Techniques, Application Concept, Agriculture, Food Storage and Nutrition or any other relevant Models are acceptable.

Rules for Model / Project Making  :   Duration : 90 Minutes

  1. Team of 2 Students only per school.
  2. Display or working to be specified.
  3. Electric and water facilities will be provided.
    (No extension box and connectors are provided)
  4. Using hazardous and explosive chemicals are strictly prohibited.
  5. Living animal models are not permitted.
  6. No stationary items will be provided.
  7. Decision of Judges will be final.
  • Cash Prizes will be awarded for all cultural events and attractive prizes for the rest.
